How do you like your Pink Floyd?
Are you a psychedelic Syd Barrett era fan or are the lush soundscapes of the later albums more your thing? Or maybe you’re just mad for ‘Dark Side of the Moon’? Or d’you like pigging out on ‘Animals’?
Whatever period of Pink Floyd gets you going, you’re going to love ‘Chronology’, the brand new show from Breathe, the Floyd celebration band who have been described as ‘so close to the real thing it’s scary!’
They’re bringing a selection of favourite Floyd tracks, right from the very first single to the last chimes of ‘The Division Bell’, presented note-for-note in the same order the songs were first released.
Kicking off with the sublime ‘See Emily Play’, Breathe will take you on a musical and visual journey charting the course of one of the world’s most influential bands, from the experimentation of the 60s, through the worldwide domination of the 70s and on to the decades that saw the band torn apart.
Along the way, you’ll hear ‘One Of These Days’, ‘Echoes’, ‘Shine On’, ‘Another Brick In The Wall’, ‘Comfortably Numb’ and many more presented in the authentic Breathe style that has captivated audiences in the UK and beyond.
From the band who brought a new dimension to the Playbox Theatre’s performance of ‘The Wall’ last November comes ‘Chronology’, a brand new show to delight Pink Floyd fans from any era which will also include some special guest appearances, a spectacular lightscape plus special effects and dramatic collaboration with members of the Playbox Theatre Troupe.
