Some of my favorite Pink Floyd shows are the pre-DSOTM concerts.  Anyone who has ever heard Fillmore West '71 or "The Man And The Journey" from Concertgebouw, Amsterdam '69 knows what I'm talking about.  The Paris Theatre 1971 version of Fat Old Sun is amazing, too, not to mention the rest of that awesome show.  Does anyone know of a Pink Floyd Tribute that has ever considered trying to reproduce some of those classic shows live in their entirety?  No lasers or lights would be needed--just a spot-on performance!

If anyone knows of one, let me know!  I'd love to see them.
Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend...we were all equal in the end.

I know that one American tribute band recreated the Cleveland 1977 show in the same stadium a few years ago.

Well, having said that, I heard that they were PLANNING it.  I don't know if it ever came off.
Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)
