Though I was curious about this show when I first saw it advertised, I thought the price a bit high, and the title appeared to be a cynical attempt to cash in on the good name and reputation of the Australian Pink Floyd, following their split from CMP. Accordingly I was not going to go, but a birthday, as well as my local venue offering 2 for 1 on tickets meant that a pair of tickets for the Plymouth Pavillions show landed in my hands, and so a friend and I made our way through the snow and ice of 20/12/2010 to see what it was all about. The set list was as posted by Nick above, so I will not waste time and type on that, from the start the standard of musicianship was superb, these guys are right out of the top drawer, and need no gimickery. At first I fely it was a bit clinical, maybe a bit too note perfect to be rocknroll, but later when the singers started engaging with the audience it livened up nicely. I felt the animations of the Kangaroo picking out his LP's was irrelevent, and such an obvious aussie floyd reference that it just appeared to be a cynical rip off from those shows, and as previously stated these guys were far too good to be needing cheap gimickery like that, just more chat between songs would have done. In short a ver enjoyable couple of hours entertainment, and I hope it will be done again next year, CMP is very good at this sort of tour, where the "show" is bigger than the individuals playing, I had seen the "Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club show" very recently, and that was also one I would happily see again, so please CMP, get over TAPFS, stop looking like you are just trying to derail and rip off that band, and stick to what you are so very good at.
