Would any Maltese member of the forum care to tell us how Roger Waters did tonight (10 July)
I'm thinking of you Kulrider.
  After all our very own Aussie Floyd were obliged to cancel their show scheduled for 15 July because Rogers people were worried about not selling any tickets,due to the quality of the the alternative gig set for the same week.

Yeah....common Norman...give us the scoop!

Okay okay, relax. I'm here. I have just started returning to normal after MOnday evening.
On to the show......the sound was out of this world, the lighting was spectacular and the pyrotechnics were awesome. Crowd was about 15,000 strong which to me is slightly disappointing for a roger waters concert. As usual the crowd was fantastic. He started at about 8.30pm with a medley of songs from various albums including Animals, Wish you were here, The Wall and some of his own songs. After the break , he did the entire DSOTM which was mind blowing. Beer this time was in abundance:) which caused me to slightly wander off into the unknown for quite some time.

I will try to get some pics for you but it would have been great to have you here with us. Waters clearly responded to the fans' enthusiasm and really let himself go.

I give it an 8+ . Hope it happens again soon.

            I'm extremely pleased that you witnessed a good gig.
       15,000 in the crowd....MMMMn on an Island stuffed full of Floyd fans.
The Aussie Floyd did rather better than that last year.
  We can only wonder about what might have happened if the gig had gone ahead this year?
  Put some beer in the fridge, Mike and I will be over to see you next year.

I'll be waiting in the arrivals lounge at the airport with pints of beer in my hand. I'll be the one wearing an ABBA T shirt......okay ..sorry  FLOYD T shirt.

I think that the crowd was less this time coz of the world cup fever, coupled with Sting being here about a month ago. I also heard a rumour going around that when Waters performed at live8, his voice was not all there so that seems to have contributed slightly to ppl not going to the gig. Fortunately for me, they were mistaken as his voice was great and so was the whole concert.
