Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)

I wonder when, back in 1973 when he was asked to play sax on DSOTM, Dick Parry ever thought he'd find himself on stage 33 years later playing a wine glass.

I think that was his career goal as he undertook the DSOTM recordings. Stick with it Dick and if this album takes off I can reach the dizzy heights of playing a wine glass live on stage he said to himself.

Brilliant find Sue you should stop by more often  ;D

Wouldn't it be fantastic to live through those 2006 concerts again.  Particularly the Echoes part.

When I was at Abbey Road, Dick walked by.  He was on his way to the loo when we wre being ushered out at the end of the performance.  By that time, I had everyones signature on the CD except Rick's  :'(  I thought about shouting, "Mr Parry, Dick!  Please sign my CD."  However, being the shy and retiring creature I am, didn't want to make a spectacle of myself  ;D

The Abbey Road shows will be broadcast soon.  Dave's show is number 8.

The first show will be this Friday on More 4 and on Monday on Channel 4 with Primal Scream, Paul Simon, Corinne Bailey Rae .
