OMG it's 30 years ago that I saw my first Floyd concert at the New Bingley Halls in Staffordshire.

And I went to the cinema for the first time, my dad took me.
No prizes for guessing the film... It was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.... (well Worcester actually). Yep Star Wars There was a bloke with a big afro sitting in front of me obscuring my view , so I swapped seats with my dad. The short disney film (about water fowl) that was on before it bored me sensless, then there was a trailer for Airplane! Then the 20th C Fox music, followed by a bloody great spaceship flying over my head. (shortly after this, the film started  ). They don't make 'em like that anymore.back on track.... I wonder if they'll not do another 30th anniversary edition of Animals like they did with WYWH? |
