TOPIC: A bit early but.....

A bit early but..... 4 years, 6 months ago #1

After seeing RW this past summer in Vegas (and this, my friends, is an understatement) I can't begin to explain how I felt after the show.  Elated, excited, depressed that it was over, inspired, and so on.  Can't help but to expect a future DVD release of this extravaganza.  Could Roger tour for a year and a half with this stage show and not release it for us to revel in it once more?  IMO this tour blew away In the Flesh 2000.  I've read contradicting reports.  Didn't notice any camera extras for Vegas like back in 2000 but there were still a dozen shows left.  I was very impressed with DG's Remember That Night but it did lack a bit of intensity at times.  Did not feel that for an instance during Roger's show.  Any thoughts or info?

There will absolutely be a DVD of the Roger DSoTM show. They had already got previous film footage and then added more when in Vancouver, and then again in Calgary. I was there....you can take it to the bank.

Here's the link to a previous thread about my experience at the Vancouver show  ;D

Thanks for the info.  Whatever Roger might do in the future (tours, albums, operas etc) I felt this was his personel best.  A sort of "here you go guys, enjoy it, you deserve it, let's put it to rest and move on" tour.  Hopefully not but this time around he gave it his all.  Reminds of the scene in Forrest Gump when Lt. Dan thanks Forrest in his own way and jumps ship swimming into the sunset, making his peace with God.   Melodramatic? Yes but then so is Roger.  I'm already saving up for a blueray.
