There are some who would argue that technically Floyd aren't a prog rock band to the extent that a lot of the others in that list were.

I think Floyd themselves avoided using the term when describing themselves.  But I think that's a fairly conclusive poll.

I reckon that Pink Floyd would fit my definition of Prog Rock. But back then it was psychedelic rock to me.
