Nice spot !

Do you think The Winkfield might be a tad busy this weekend ? I don't mind a pint of Arkells myself either

These kind of intimate musical events only ever really work when not advertised in advance, its always best when we get to hear about them after they've happened.
Can you imagine the chaos at the pub when two thousand people all turn up hoping to see/hear Roger and Nick play ? I hope it does actually happen. Good luck to all concerned.
About ten years ago some very hard working people at our local music venue managed to secure the services of Eric Clapton  to perform a secret gig. The financial agreement for this was on the basis of expenses only.Only the organising group at the venue (Wilbarston Hall, capacity 400) were in on the big secret ....that was until some brainless prat at BBC Radio Northampton announced it on air. Immediately Mr Clapton was told that this had happened, the gig was cancelled. He knew full well that the hall would be inundated by an unruly mob.
If you are reading this Neil, you remember the fuss don't you ??

Right on my doorstep, superb, takes me less then 5 min walk.

I go there alot, however it is soooooo.......tiny, not sure how it will all work, IF it will happen now.
There has been alot of talk in the pub about it, god knows who told the BBC.

Anyway, plenty of standing room in the carparks and surrounding areas
