My kids were watching this movie last night, and I saw the tail end with them (I've not seen the whole film, just the odd clip when they have watched it previously but now I may have to watch the whole thing as it actually looked quite good).

There was a song playing over the final credits and I thought I recognised the voice of the singer, and some of the lyrics too. So I watched the credits to see if I could see who sang it.

Roger Waters. Hello (I Love You)

Written especially for the film I found out after googling it. There are some Floydian references in the song too. One line of the Chorus is "Is there anybody in there?" and on the last verse he sings about the dark side of the moon and that he'll see you there.



Some useless information for you anyway, in case like me you had no idea about this particular song........

I've a vague memory of the promo vid being posted on his website around the time it was released. Was defo posted up in public somewhere at the time anyway as I remember listening to it. Good old youtube is your friend and all that if you fancy a repeat performance

The DVD has a short on the recording of Roger's contribution.  There's a snippet of it in the film too.  My kids LOVE that movie

Taking the thread somewhat O/T although still kinda along the lines of RW stuff you might not have heard before, how bad is THIS ... and how much do wish you *really* hadn't clicked that linky !!

I stumbled across it whilst looking for "Hello I Love You" and needless to say very much wish I hadn't.  I've never heard it before (and most certainly never want to again either) but it simply has to win the "Worst Cover, Ever" award hands down. If it wasn't for the fact that I want to see them at upcoming Wall tour, Messrs Fairweather-Low and Waters should be hung, drawn and quartered for this gruesome murder - no trial necessary, the evidence is overwhelming
