As many of you may have heard, Blind Melon is back together (with a new lead singer, of course) and touring.  Having been a fan of their old stuff, I was skeptical at first.  However, I've seen and heard a few videos from their current tour on YouTube which have very much impressed me.  They even had Shannon Hoon's daughter, Nico, sing a few songs with them...  Here are a few links:

- No Rain (ft. Nico Hoon)
- Change (ft. Nico Hoon)
- Change (ft. Nico Hoon, different angle)
- Sleepyhouse (w/ Travis Warren)
- Mouthful of Cavities (w/ Travis Warren)

They've got alot of new stuff, too.  Anyhow, I figured I'd share it with any old fans.  Enjoy...

Damn thats pretty good.  I love Blind Melon they are just so damn good.  Its crazy how bands can re form and still sound damn good.  If anyone likes alice in chains and havnt seen them they should.  Their singer does a nasty job of covering Staley.

Thanks for that mihalis!

The sound is better on some than others... but man, it just gives me the warm chills!

They are tight!  I'd love to hear the sound feed direct from the boards and not have to hear the hooters and singers-along.

You know what, and I'm funny this way....I kinda like singers to be in tune at least most of the time. Being a bit off pitch is Ok here and there because the whole outweighs the occasional off pitch note. But these Blind Melon clips are pretty bad that way. So they don't get my vote!. Sorry!

You and me both, buddy.  I wish I could find a soundboard recording from this tour, but I imagine it will be next to impossible given the small scale of it all... there don't seem to be that many folks who would have access to it, ya know?

I hear ya... still one can dream.....

I hope that the success of this mini tour will open the doors to a wider tour and DVD.
