TOPIC: discovery of a great floyd/verve mix

A band from iceland called 'leaves' really tickled my fancy recently. Sounding like the verve/coldplay/floyd/sigur ros amongst others. They sound great and I suggest you check them out you will not be disappointed;

I highly recommend you listen to I go Down from 'Breathe'

another band is sigur ros. They sing in icelandic and have a very (as described) picturesque sound about them. Theyve also been discribed to encorporate the phenomenal visual views of iceland in their songs. Check them out here

The last band I am going to mention is a band close to my own heart; My old band were able to tour with these for a bit and despite being great guys they create great music and played leeds and reading a few times. Theyve now split to create new bands but you can hear a few of their tracks on myspace. They are very radiohead as well as coldplay and a few other great influences. Check these out here:

Thanks Jon. I'll check those out. I do like Sigur Ros.
