Massive Attack will host this year's Meltdown at the Southbank Centre.  The lineup is a real mixed bag and includes Gong and Elbow.  I was a bit disappointed that Portishead weren't included.

Priority member tickets went on sale today (sale to the general public starts tomorrow) and guess what ... the website went down at 9 am.  ???

However, after spending half the day on the 'phone , finally managed to get tickets for Massive Attack's opening show at the revamped Royal Festival Hall no less 

I'm so excited ... the sound is going to be awesome! 

i love massive attack !! i am gutted i cant go as i have never seen them live and they are ment to be great ! i prefere there earlier stuff to there more resent music but still enjoy them .. hope you have a good time and look forward to a good review

Given the choice between that and Bruce Springsteen, I would have chosen Meltdown - shame I booked Springsteen so long ago?
