May I be the first to encourage all UK-based members to buy Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley this week? The best No 1, Christmas or otherwise, since Another Brick, Bohemian Rhapsody and Bob the Builder. Keep the X Factor off the top spot for once.

One of the best versions of the song for sure. I also like Rufus Wainwright's cover.

Edith Bowman was championing the version on Radio 1 earlier. Rufus Wainwright did a great version too.
I love Aussie Floyd. Simple as that lol.

The trouble with this song is that every fucker has covered it, so no one can decide on the absolute best version.

Maybe we should all vote for Jon Bon Jovi's version ...
