OK, to relieve the boredom (and to create some competition), have a go at this:

All you have to do is drag and drop the state outlines onto their correct position on the map.  No outlines have been provided to help you, and the idea is to get your average mileage error as small as possible.  It's all based on accuracy.

I can get it down to an average error of one mile.  It does take several goes to learn the exact locations, and slightly longer if you have no idea from the start anyway!

Can anyone put all 50 on the map with NO mistakes?

Correction: 100%, 0 miles.

80%, 126mile average error, 845 secs. 40 perfect out of 50!

Not the result of a classical education.....

78% 202 miles average error, time 943 secs........ah well geography was never my strong point. Not bad for a jigsaw tho!
