TOPIC: Pool Cues??

I have a question if any of you are fellow pool players like me, and Im after a really nice cue to call my own. I have had my eye on a few Riley cues at the moment but does anyone have any suggestions, much appreciated gang! ;D ;D

I have never had to queue to get into the pool, perhaps its just because of the hot weather.

My suggestion is to go to the pool when its not so busy.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old

Well i am a big snooker fan, so i think i can help. Riley is the best make of anything snooker related IMO. So anything from them is good stuff. But I'm more of a Power Glide fan myself

I suppose it depends on what size table you plan to play on.
Bigger table = bigger cueball = more weight required in the cue.

I've played on what I think was a 9' table, and the cue ball was massive. The standard pub style cues we had to use may as well have been breadsticks.

Avoid one that has been varnished all the way to the tip, as this causes the cue to stick a bit.

A long one with a thick bit one end and a pointy-ish bit the other end, oh and a twiddly bit in the middle if it's one of those two piece thingy's.
