I got a letter today from my Employer whom I have worked for since leaving school in 1968, which was about the time David Gilmour joined Pink Floyd.
The letter tells me I am to be made redundant from the end of the month.
OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY
As of the 1st of August I will be retired 12 years early and I have no intention of looking for work. YEEEHAA!!!!

Those redundancy letters are fun. I got one last year after 10 years with the company. > I semi-retired for 9 months before landing a full-time job.
