When you get to a certain age and size you get asked to be Father Christmas and I have obliged in the past for the local fire stations children's Christmas party. I usually arrive by being rescued from the top of the station training tower and the kids love to see Santa coming down on the High Platform. This was all arranged again but Health and Safety found out and put a block on it. The kids still saw Santa arrive on a fire engine but it's not the same. I think we take these rules too far sometimes.
Mr Fossil, all credit to you for doing that ! wish there were more people like you in the world. What a shame about H & S - the buggars ! still think of all the smiles you put on those childrens faces. Well done ! ;D
