TOPIC: skins

skins 5 years, 4 months ago #1

hey people, i am not much of a tv fan like some of you but i must say does anyone watch skins? its the new c4 drama from the creators of shameless, another one of the programs that I watched. Its very good and it tells the tale of youth through the eyes of a very popular boy yet they undermime everybody they meet, his friend who is  secret drug dealer and thier girfriends. It will be featuring Danny Dyer from football factory next week as well as neil morissey. Please give this a watch, it has only just started on E4 and is on a thursday at 10 and repeated the tuesday after.

I watched Skins last night.

I have to say I was disappointed.  Too many inclusive stereotypes (rebellious one, gay one, Muslim one, slag, weirdo, virgin, druggie).  You just wouldn't get that equal balance in any given group of friends.  I liked Mad Twatter though - redolent of Begbie from Trainspotting I thought.

Despite the hype, quite lame.  Needs more gratuitous sex for its timeslot.
Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)

haha, i see you're point larry! mad twatter was played by the guy who played Skin leader from 51st state, and if you watch that you will understand how nuts this guy is! i can relate to it more as it reminisces youth through real times like that, well apart from the spaced out girl run to hospital in a stolen car!
