As this forum comprises at least 50% utterly useless information, I thought I'd start a topic dedicated to utterly useless information. Here's my starter.

The female urination device, which lets women urinate upright, was invented in 1922.

I suppose all information is useful to any given group of people, when you think about it.

Although I can't think of anyone who might find the above "useful", unless you like going into men's toilets in nightclubs to impress the lads.

Here's something egven more useless: yesterday, between 11.09am and 3am, the Telewest broadband internet service was offline in the N1 and N19 postcode areas of north London, thus rendering my evening rather more dull than I had been anticipating.

I was fascinated to read of your recent internet difficulties and you may be interested to know that I am half way through power washing my block paving, back and front. In case you were wondering I am using my new Karcher pressure washer which works by using pistons to force water through a small orifice.
