Come on then, who's gone out and got themselves Windows Vista then?? Any problems yet?? Is it worth upgrading and parting with ?100 of hard earned money, for now XP pro will do me

Not me! Apparently if I want Vista to run on my pc I need 15Gb of H/Drive space free, 1Gb RAM etc etc etc. I also need to get a new scanner as my Canoscan won't work with Vista, plus it won't run Call of Duty which is absolute heresy! ;D Think I'll stick with XP until 2011 when Microsquish stop supporting it. By then they might have ironed out the bugs in Vista too. (Ooo meeow) :

Not for me just yet, apart from it being a HUGE amount of money to part with, it will be riddled with bugs for the first few months. Until it becomes more stable/cheaper and runs most if not all the games and software I have, I think I'm going to stay well clear..... Not sure about anyone else

As I thought, I have read that there are plenty of people upgrading to Vista, and some are getting various hardware and software problems, even with newer kit. So most of my old kit, printer and scanner mainly will be defunct , cleaver trick by Microsoft this as it will force people to buy upgraded equipment that is approved for Vista, but I remember XP having the same problem upon it release.

Sounds like Vista has more bugs than the Amazon rain forest.

Plus all the virus writers have a new target with Vista too. >
