Ever have a song in your head you maybe heard on the radio and wish you knew the name of the song and who recorded it? Well ... Songtapper claims to be able to help

http://www.songtapper.com/

This site claims to be able identify a song if you tap the rhythm on your space bar, I tried it with "Smoke on the Water" and "Money" and it amazingly recognised what I was tapping, but it took forever to analyse my attempts at tapping "Bohemian Rhapsody" and I gave up

Give it a go and post the results.

It struggled with my Money but got my Baa Baa Black Sheep straight off.
Are we nearly there yet?

I've tried about half a dozen tunes and the only one it got was Jingle Bells. I think my tapping must be bad or something.

Did you see this on the BBC programme "Click" BTW ?

No problems with Kum By Ya (I used to think it was Comb My Hair) and Lola, The Kinks but no joy with On The Turning Away. It did, however, come up with matching song called "I Like Monkey Song" err... OK!
Hello and thanks for having me.

Another service allows you to sing or hum and the site will try and identify the song, I've not tried it as we have a firewall in the way which prevents it connecting but I'll have a go later
