Anyone been affected by this dodgy fuel problem >

, just watched our local news here in Nottingham and it would seem that the supermarket garages around have been affected, also Northampton, Leicester and Derbyshire have problems.
There's talk of silicone contamination in the petrol, if this is the case then why are the supermarkets in question saying their fuel is OK, I smell a rat here because of so many cars needing expensive repairs, oxygen sensors, catalyst's ETC, trading standards will get their results tomorrow I wonder if they will be different??
Anyone with a car affected by contaminated fuel should keep ALL receipts for petrol and any repairs carried out to the vehicle, there may be a chance you can claim the cost back when the cause is found out, and those responsible exposed.
