OK, I'm watching How Clean Is Your House which disgusts me every time I watch it.
I don't know why I bother but it does give me something to shake my head and tut at.

I've just seen a tip on cleaning vinyl records which is as follows...

Equal parts distiled water and triple distiled vodka (yes Diane, vodka to clean and not to drink!)
Use a shaving brush dipped in the mixture with excess shaken off. Follow the grooves of the record and hey presto - apparently.

Anyone else have any good cleaning tips? or just any helpful tips why not post them here... (Viz style tips more than welcome).
Hello and thanks for having me.

Make sure you use my formula for working out the length of the groove so you know how much Vodka to use.

You are fully entitled to voice your opinion but don't for one second expect me to agree with you.
Years of experience has taught me that the best way to clean a dirty LP is to apply a liberal squirt of Fairy Liquid  rub it in gently then soak in cold water. Any dirt just lifts off.......getting the bloody thing dry again without scratching is where the skill comes in.
