During our recent debate about the early release of prisoners ( thank you Tim, I enjoyed that) I was surprised to read a few comments by some of you that you felt this country was F@cked so I was wondering what others thought about the country we live in. Please give your thoughts, good or bad. It would also be interesting to hear what our overseas friends thought about this country.

The cowardly events in London yesterday show what some allegedly civilised foreign nations think of our way of life in this country.

Now should I reply to this or not? Are you just looking for new posts Phil (ie, those that didn't post in last weeks thread), or can we all join in?

Please reply in this one Tim. Andy's comment is at the heart of my feelings about this country but because I asked the question I would like to come in later if you all don't mind.
