Well, my bike ride home tonight was a little different thanks to a huge signal failure in the West Hampstead area this afternoon.

All southbound First Capital Connect trains terminated at Mill Hill East, on the northern edge of London.  The driver suggested we change at St Albans for a bus to Hatfield and then a train to Kings Cross.  Fortunately I had my bike so I decided to cycle from Mill Hill to Holloway.

The ride itself was fine - Just follow the A1 all the way down.  The only trouble was it decided to rain very heavily and I had to get the waterproofs out.  And when you get hot and sweaty in there it really isn't very nice.  My sunglasses were also steaming up!

Anyway, I got in and worked out how far I'd cycled - just under 7.5 miles.  I won't be doing it every day though ...

Yes, the end point of that map is a railway bridge near my house.

I deliberately don't end my routes right at my house for stalker-avoiding purposes.

Very wise larry, god forbid they ever find out you address.

It is still Flat 3 127 Hornsey road, Holloway, London isn't it?
Are we nearly there yet?
