Neil can't get onto the forum. Don't know why. He usually uses firefox and he's tried using IE but to no avail. He's restarted his computer and still nothing. Does anyone have any (serious) suggestions please?

Is there a firewall blocking it at all? Or an anti-virus program? I know a mate of mine had trouble accessing a site and it was down to his AV program. Hope this helps!

Can he "ping tributehub.com" ? He should try this from the cmd line - he should get an instantaneous reply from 75.126.163.69

If he doesn't then it could be his ISP has problems with DNS. I notice he hasn't been on since Sept 6th when Nick moved things - it might be that his ISP hasn't received the DNS updates. Not sure what he can do in this situation apart from wait.

Don't all laugh at me, the eternal computer no-hoper, offering advice to someone else, but, I occasionally get access to programmes blocked by Data Execution Protection. I've been told that it's something to do with security/Firewall/anti-virus.

Lorna, I know how to sort it on my PC, if larry wants to give it a try get him to email me (he's got my address), and I'll send him the procedure.

Having just posted the above - I now see that larry is back amogst us!
