Ack! I need to vent somewhere before I punch someone's lights out! I bought a new 2008 van the first part of August, and less than 2 weeks later, the bloody transmission went in it. My wife and I were pulling out of a parking space with both kids in the van, and the whole thing just went kaput (it is an automatic transmission). So, today the van is finally fixed, and the lovely technician on the phone told us that the only way this could have happened is if we were squealing the tires, or shifting rapidly from reverse to drive. Yes, doing burnouts in the parking lot of a busy grocery store with two children under 2 in our van. Makes sense. I'm going in to pick up the van in a few minutes, but needed to blow off some steam before hand. Oh, they also told us that they were doing us a favor by putting it through our warranty - that we should really be responsible for the $12,000 bill on our van with just 2000km. What rubbish! Ack! Wish me luck picking the van up.

You'll need a jack or you'll put your back out.

Whatever happened to the missive,"The customer is always right".
      What ever happened to a loyal customer receiving good service ?
            It would seem that  once you have paid your money and various people have raked off their commission then it really doesn't matter how substandard the product is..........Name the company and name the type of vehicle in order that they loose many potential clients. Hit them where it hurts,In the pocket.

They missed an opportunity there. What is the point of doing the work under the warranty and then moaning about it. Surely if it was covered they would have been better doing the job but showing you what a great company they were so you would be likely to use them in the future. :-
