Just back from me hols again and bugger me, there are 4 pages of unread topics for me to plow through 

Anyway, guess I will  get round to it soon - had a great time, Galapagos is a unique place and I was totally blown away by diving with sea lions, a life changing experience interacting with such amazing animals.

We saw whalesharks on everydive at Darwin Arch, as well as schooling hammerheads, dolphins, turtles and rays. The whalesharks were monstrous in size, like buses! I will at somestage be doing a full trip report on my website. Purely for diving Coco's beats it, as there are only 2 places were the diving is as good/better than Coco's. But then you don't get all the other animals at the Coco's Islands.

Seeing those whalesharks must be some awesome experience. 

In this continuing saga of underwater one-upmanship, I'm off to Safaga a week on Friday, where I'll be the inaugural and only customer of Emperor's new dive center for 2 weeks! The hotel isn't ready yet, so I'm staying somewhere else and they're picking me up every day and opening it just for me. I'll tell you what I saw when I get back, but I do know they've got seahorses on the house reef.

Nick, not meant to be at all - just updating so you will know if it's worth the effort of going there. I would give it a miss and do Coco's first, unless you really want to see the land animals as well?

Have fun in Safaga and I would be interested to know what it's like? I am just about to cancel my February dive trip to the Maldives, so am looking for an alternative?
