After a week of endless problems we are looking for a new service provider. Can you name your provider & how do they rate?
Tiscali for us have been extremely poor & would not reccomend to anyone.

Demon Internet - been in the business for years and were one of the original ISP's. You may not have heard of them as they don't advertise (they don't have to!!!). Consistently highly rated, I have used them for 2 years and am very impressed.

I used to use Demon years ago when all their local access numbers ended "666", this was in the days before using 0845 dial up, every town had it's own demon telephone number.

Recently I've used Pipex - they were good
Screaming.net / Worldcom / Tiscali - crap customer service but this was a few years back.
I'm using Sky at the moment, service can be dodgy at times but their supplied Netgear router can need booting every so often - I'm also right on the limit for ADSL coverage which gives me a slow speed as well.

Speaking of internet I can't access mine cos the telephone exchange has had a fault since tuesday and won't be back till thursday. Therefore I'm not really posting this am I?  :

(Am I bad for using somebody elses unsecured wireless network?)

PlusNet www.plus.net pretty good and often come high up in customer satisfaction surveys.

Ohh yes Andy, didn't someone get prosecuted for that recently ? It's classed as theft
