I woke up about 3.00pm with the thought of 'one more night-shift to go'. :'(

Off work for a few days after putting my back out (old injury from car accident!).

Watching movies, listening to CD's (J.J. Cale at the moment) and reading books - bored in other words!

I'm going for a look round Reading signalbox tomorrow.
Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)

Today I've been dealing with a tenant who has learning difficulties and is being harassed by his neighbour who is a smackhead. He is being bullied into handing over money that he can ill afford. He will not go to the police for fear of reprisals & I have spent the afternoon trying to raise his confidence to let me tackle him, I cannot step in until he lets me. Once he does his neighbours feet won't touch the floor, believe me.
Oh & we had to evacuate the office today & lock in a tenant, until the police arrived.  That tenant had pulled a knife on one of my colleagues . Apart from that it's been pretty quiet today.
Are we nearly there yet?
