Bloody cars!!!!

I have had an intermittent problem with my car for months now. Had it in to the garage twice but they say they can find nothing wrong. Battery flat again this morning so fitted spare. Then noticed smoke and smell of electrical burning from engine compartment. Garage cannot touch it until Monday at the earliest.

I'd change all the electrical wiring in it if I were you.

Prolly cheaper to replace the car, on the other hand it all depends what the car is smoking... ;D

I totally empathise, my car was toed to the garage 2 days ago (3rd time in 6 weeks that it just won't start). Already paid the peugeot garage a small fortune and they have still not fixed it  :'( ! The car has got to go! I stayed up til late last night studying 'What Car?' trying to decide what car to get and all I know is I'm never getting another French car!

Mechanics aren't mechanics anymore. Most of the people who work (huh thats a laugh) in garages these days are semiskilled fitters.
              If you are ever lucky enough to find a good garage stick with them and become a loyal customer ?

You all need to get Smart cars.
