Nice to see that petrol retailers are not taking advantage of the possible petrol shortage by hiking their prices this week....NOT!
I was rather alarmed to find that Shell has gone from £1.01 a litre to £1.14 virtually overnight. Hmmmmm..........

It's been that price round here for ages now although Neil pointed out a garage a few weeks back that was selling at £1.25 per litre so I dread to think what that has been hiked up to now.

Well one of the independant retailers here was selling petrol for £1.11 a litre last week and I thought there's no way I'm getting it from there.......now he's dropped it to £1.08 and is one of the cheaper retailers LOL.

I predict a riot.......... ;D

Been at over £1.22 a litre here for a week, have not checked over the weekend, probably a lot more now!!!!

Our prices on the west coast of Canada are $1.29 per liter for gas, and diesel is $1.32 per liter. This is slightly less than half of your prices, and as much as it's cheaper for us....we have longer distances and the speed it is going up right now is scary. I trucker friend of mine last Oct was paying between $8000.00 and $9000.00 per month for diesel. Now he is paying between $12000.00 and $13000.00 a month to do the exact same trips.

I predict a riot....... ;D
