Just got home to discover the electricity has been off for 2 hours. All you get is a recorded message from the power company saying they are aware of it. Bugger.

Hmmm.....power cuts, soaring petrol and food prices, nothing on TV.........it's starting......I predict a riot  ;D

We were off for 24, then they slung a temporary cable attached to next doors electricity box and threw it over our porch! That was how it stayed for 6 weeks! Oh, i forgot! They did take the cable down and said it was fixed after 2 weeks, but alas..they'd made a balls of it, so no power again for 6 hours until they returned and threw the same cable back up again!

Phone call - We weren't so bleeding lucky :-[
