Whilst on our visit to Liverpool I found an 256Mb XD type memory card near our hotel, and seeing as my camera uses this type of memory decided to see what was on it.  The photo's on the card are someones wedding photo's : so I would like to try and get this card back to it's rightful owner as I feel these photo's are very special to them.

I know that the chances of returning this card are very remote as the couple in the photo's appear to be of an Asian origin and look like they where probably tourist's , but I am considering contacting the Liverpool Echo newspaper to see if they would print a couple of the photo's along with where the card was found.

Anyone have any other ideas??

You could try ringing any call centre from England, that way you are guaranteed to be speaking to an Asian. Ask them if they have lost anything.
On a more serious note Lea, the Liverpool Echo or the hotel itself are probably your best bet. Good luck & well done you for trying.

Well done in wanting to find the owners of the memory card.  Good luck !  wish there were more folk in the world like you, anybody else might not have bothered.

There are a lot of decent people out there. In the job I'm now doing I'm constantly reminded about the honest and kind hearted people that hand over property they've found. We receive approx 1000 items of property every day which includes between 80-100 mobile phones and hundreds of wallets, purses and handbags which more often than not have substantial amounts of cash still in them.  I still can't get over how careless people are with their belongings though but it keeps me in a job so I'd just like to say to all you fools out there... carry on
