This time I actually did win something! OK, only £10 but I've never won a tenner before.
Has anyone ever won anything of a substantial amount on the lottery?

Oh and before you start Fossil the answer is NO!

Oh right ho Lorna. Anyway back to your question, I got 5 balls on this weeks lottery & won £3554.00.

OK seriously Lorna. I used to run a lottery syndicate of 10 members at our rugby club. We each invested the one pound a week and we were to split the winnings ten ways. In the first and only year we ran it we invested ten pounds per week between us. Total investment = £520.00. Total winnings = £30.00. :-

Five years ago we won £93 for four balls on a roll over week.
                We splashed out on filling the car with fuel and spent the rest on a curry.
  As I do that most weeks anyway, it didn't change or lives.

We have a group of 4 that play our lottery game twice a week. It costs us $4.00 a week each to be in the group. In the last 15 years we have won 4 out of 6 numbers 5 times. Each prize was about $80.00 to $100.00  :-

The most we won in our syndicate (6 of us) was £109 for four balls, we had several tenners but have since packed up.
