I was working on the front desk today and a gentleman came in making an enquiry about a lost document case. He said the place had changed slightly since he last came in to the Lost Property Office. He told me about the time he lost his briefcase which was just before he was engaged to his girlfriend. The briefcase had 3 diamonds in it. I asked him if we found it and he said that we did, he wouldn't have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary yesterday if we hadn't!
