TOPIC: The most incomprehensible thing on a web site

The most incomprehensible thing on a web site 3 years, 9 months ago #1

I came across this post on the SMF forum and thought it was worthy of a topic:

"I have a forum where there are regular member and a custom group called HD. HD's has full access, where regular members have postbased access (I guess).

What I want is the HD group to get more stars the more posts they make, but regular members must never get HD access based on number of posts.

Besides that the HD group doesn't have the star as image, but a flag. So the more posts from the HD member, the more flags.

Can I do that?"

Brilliant. I'm sure he knew what he meant. ;D

He wants to change the flags images to stars, but he only wants the change to apply to his "HD" members.

Bit of an elitist, isn't he?

I hope that English is not his first language.....

It's safe to say it probably isn't, given his use of possessives and the occasional missing plural 's'.
