Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone is a fan of Trek?
I recently purchased the 1st Season of TOS in its remastered form, I couldn't resist as it was going on Play.com for under 30 pounds. I was going to hang on until it was released in normal DVD form, but something tells me that this is not going to happen as both seasons 2 and 3 have already been released in DVD form.
I know that one side will always be redundant as it is in HD, but what the heck, at least I get all the episodes and most of the documentaries on the DVD side.
I would like to know if anyone has purchased any of the remastered box sets and what they think compared to the original formats. I think it is hit and miss. I think a handmade model ship will always look better that a computer generated image, but you cannot argue with a remastered episode done in the quality of Balance Of Terror, a new dimension has been added to one of the most memorable Trek episodes.
