Is it just me? I know it can't just be me, can it? I'm bloody fed up with Christmas already and it's only October.  Shops have Christmas stuff in them, adverts on sodding TV, wake me when it's over! As Neil and I were discussing earlier, Christmas starts on 25th December and ends 26th December. It's no wonder more and more people are getting cheesed off with it, it's being forced into our heads waaaaaay too early and by the time it comes around we're all so damn fed up with it and can't wait for it to end. Why can't it all go away until 25th Dec?
Hello and thanks for having me.

Yes ... wish I could close my eyes and wake up on 1 March 2009!

Except, I'd miss my trip to Cambridge next week

Wasn't that what you did back in the 70's?
Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)

I just don't celebrate it anymore really, no decorations and I don't buy presents. I do sometimes go to midnight mass however and join friends for Christmas lunch, but I don't hop on the commercial bandwagon at all.

When I retire I plan to leave the country from Nov to February and stay somewhere hot (Thailand probably) and miss the whole thing!

Nowt wrong with that Tim. I suspect a lot more people will be having a low key Christmas this time round. Lets hope that they get to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas again.
