Poor old boy ? What exactly is his game? Does he need publicity to sell something ?
          Just listened to an interview with him recorded by the BBC after last nights rock award ceremony where he was given an award for the 1967 Cream album Disraeli Gears.
    A good deal of his language was bleeped out but in essence he was complaining about older musicians cashing in on their past reputations, particularly Led Zeppelin recording new material. His current slogan would appear to be , "Don't trust anybody over the age of 30" and "there are plenty of good new bands about." plus "Jimmy Page is a second rate session musician."

He's always been an arse. I was in a crowd that had to stand outside in the rain for an hour a few years ago because he wan't happy with the soundcheck at a pub gig.

At another show he was kicking his amp and being petulant because he couldn't get the sound he wanted.

On the other hand he plays like an angel, and I would't deny myself the opportunity to see him just because he behaves like a dickhead. He's a flawed character who seems to have a sizeable chip on his shoulder, but one of the most talented musicians ever to pick up a bass.
