TOPIC: Video Editing software

Video Editing software 3 years, 6 months ago #1

Whilst rooting through my loft, I found my old camcorder and around 20 tapes of old footage from when the kids were growing up. I've managed to get the footage onto my dvd recorders hard drive, then onto my PC as VOB files. It's all a bit mish mash at the moment and needs editing badly before I can burn it onto a DVD proper, with a nice little menu and everything!

Can anyone on the forum recommend anything decent for this task? Something for the not so technical, and that's easy to use. Software with the usual things like "cut out the boring bits with your Auntie rabbiting on" feature, but is easy to do. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Daz

Dazzle, I use Adobe Premiere Elements 2, I believe the newest version is 7. Very simple to use and UF.  Perfect for what you need to do.

Cheers PB.

Just checked Adobe's web site and I'm downloading a trial version 7.

Thanks for your help

Never mind video editing software - why not do what this guy did and take over 3000 photos and edit them together?
