Isn't it strange how much we take this all for granted now, I remember when a launch of any rocket or shuttle would make it to the prime time news but now its only the "science nerds" that take any notice.

It is sad to think that the only time something like this will make the news is when something goes disastrously wrong and then the media are all over the place.

I have always wanted to time one of my holidays over to Florida to coincide with a launch, perhaps one day I will manage to do that.

Something I have always wanted to do too Remy, ...... this would be fun, an Aussie fan convention in Florida, that coincided with some gigs and a Shuttle launch - is that asking too much?

But it's a good idea, next time I go to Florida I'll be making a trip to the cape for sure (didn't have time on this occasion).
