Well I am off today and have been watching live the first EVA of 2 of the crew. At present (1515) they are trying to release a latching bolt for the wide-field camera exchange, but it won't shift! The floater (1 guy is fixed to an arm, the other is free to float around and assist) has gone back to the airlock to get another wrench for the guy trying to undo the bolt.

Fascinating to watch and I reckon I would have sworn at the damn thing by now! He's going back now with a short adjustable wrench now, so I'm back to see how they get on.

So much teamwork required to undo one bolt ?
and I'm on my third cup of tea while watching this !

Now that's a good idea, cup of tea sounds good . . . . they were working on that bolt for nearly 45 mins! But I guess after 16 years it was hard to budge. Pretty cool coverage from Nasa  ;D

I'm glad when the service my car it doesn't take 45 mins per bolt - that would be one big bill!

You obviously don't use the same garage as me. I once got "billed" for £18 to tighten up a bolt on the drivers door ! I think they used the "minimum chargeable time period" of 0.5 hours. I told them to f**k right off when it was itemised on the bill.

Anyway, back on topic, thanks for the links, I'll have a look later when I check in the hotel if they're still at it.

Lol, it's a bit like watching council workers - 1 guys doing all the work, while the other one just hangs around watching him
