I am sick to death of those ice hockey people who think it's "part of the game of hockey" to fight. If this happened in Soccer, American football, tennis, basketball.....there would be permanent suspensions from playing again.

Now, what really pisses me off, is that hockey somehow has stretched the rules so far beyond good sense that there really is very little point in having rules around violence in the game.

Hell sometimes I go to a fight and a hockey game breaks out!

Professional sports people loose their tempers and their cool at times, sometimes there are skirmishes and the refs then apply a firm hand and award penalties etc. It's not always perfect I know. But in hockey....well there seems to be a never ending stretching of these limits. We have had deaths, we have had permanent and life threatening injuries, and people have had their ability to play taken from them by the hired thugs that each team has. These enforcers are hired to protect key players, and to apply a physical threat when needed, and also to apply retribution and revenge for something. The game is brilliant and I love ice hockey.....but it's out of control people....out of control, and it really pisses me off!

Earlier this winter there was a bench clearing brawl between two hockey teams...the coaches encouraged the fight, and there was a full out two team brawl, it was all over the National news here and it was shamefull.......the players were all about 10 to 12 years old. It was discusting to watch and it sickens me to think that some people just laughed and think it's, "part of the game".

I hate those RAT BASTARDS who talk on their cell phones while driving through intersections, why should I have the responsibility of their safety?
