Some of the non-racing scenes at the Revival. There is so much to see around every corner. The girls all love it, not like a regular 'car racing only' event where they get
bored. The atmosphere is just incredible, unlike any other race meeting.

In 1967, Jim Clark had a couple of laps in the famous pre-war ERA 'Remus', owned by Patrick Lindsay. Goodwood 2009 and Jimmy's great friend Jackie Stewart also tries her
out in the ERA demo, now owned by Patrick's son Ludo.

The cars are great of course, but the aircraft are something really special - multiple Merlins and the elephant roar of the 4 Olympus engines as the Vulcan pulls up - beautiful! Also great to see the Vimy replica still flying, I was told it had been permanently grounded - great to see that it hasn't been. Superb photos in both threads!
I was part of the 'crew' when Mario Andretti drove up the Hill in his Newman-Haas Cosworth Champ Car a few years ago, the smell of Methanol in the pits was eye watering!

Cheers Neil. It was the Vimy's last flight unfortunately. She needs a lot of money spending on her to obtain a new certificate, which no one has. I heard she was flying on an American ticket for this event though.  Amazing turning circle, quite gobsmacked how manouverable the aircraft was.
