My good friends Just Floyd will be playing at the

Beacon Court Tavern, Canterbury Street, Gillingham, Kent ME7 5TP
on Easter Saturday, 7 April, 9 pm, ?6

They will be playing Animals amongst other songs.  These usually include Time, Money, On The Turning Away, Two Suns In The Sunset, Southampton Dock, Young Lust, Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell and more.

They're currently my favourtite tribute act.  They're a lot of fun and a lovely bunch of people. Dan, the lead singer does fabulous things with Roger's vocals.  He injects  lots of 'Rogersque' attiitutde and emotion into his singing whilst retaining his own excellent and unique style.  He truly has a great voice.  Roger's saxophonist, Ian Ritchie, played with these guys before embarking on the tour last year.

The Beacon Court is an intimate and relaxed venue ... very nice!

If anyone wants to meet up, let me know.

Great review Sue, glad to hear you had a good time. What about the stage show or do they just concentrate on the music, not that there would be anything wrong with that.
Are we nearly there yet?

They do both Phil.

Although not as well known as other tribute bands and they play in small venues, their show is a  very good one and they're very nice people.  They were using a interesting green laser for this show and you just had to put your hands in it.  Take at look at the Gallery link on this website.  It will give you some idea of the lights.

There's some dates in the gig list that might be of interest.

Diane, you'll have to come down for a visit!
