Just been listening to some of his stuff. Great player, but it's blues without balls, to my ears, and that makes for a very dull experience. Surprising when you consider the people he has worked for (Miles Davis, Charlie Musselwhite, Jimmy Witherspoon) that his own stuff hasn't got more fire. Sorry, Dan.

Didn't listen to Any Colour, no. Did get some of his live recordings, though. Had to keep stapling my leg to stay awake.  ;D
