Might be a daft question but has anybody got experience of these i.e are they good, bad or indifferent? It's just that I'm thinking of getting a new guitar and stuff like Martin, Taylor etc are a bit out of my price league! I quite like the look of Takamine.

Looks like Jon's not going to answer this, so here goes. I've got a Takamine EG560C and I love it. They make guitars across a big price range, and if you buy one of the less expensive ones like mine, you get all the quality of the high end ones but made to a price. It sounds fantastic plugged in or acoustic, plays beautifully and looks great.
