To all the people who enjoy a bit of bass, who are your fave bass players?
Mine are as follows

1.Chris Squire
2. John Paul Jones
3. Flea
4. Roger Waters
5.Geddy Lee

I Don't know if I can include Roger in my list for bass playing prowess, but he is there as one of my favourite artists who just so happens to play bass (does that make sense?)

1. Roger Waters (for song wirting)
2. Les Claypool - the best bass player I have ever seen.
3. Geddy Lee
4. JJ Burnel
5. Steve Harris
6. Lemmy.
7. Cliff Burton
8. John Paul Jones

Apart from Les and Geddy, the others are there forwhat they mean to their bands.

I saw Rush in the early 90's (Roll the Bones tour), with Primus in support. probably the most gifted 3 pieces I will ever see.
